Ever since I first visited the ever so trendy by CHLOE in NYC last fall while at school, I’ve been in love. There is definitely something to be said about restaurants that are not only aesthetically pleasing and chic enough for a photo shoot, but extremely delicious. And did I mention–by CHLOE is vegan, making it über healthy. Because my college is located near NYC, my friends and I would occasionally visit to treat ourselves the by CHLOE way. Because I love this lil gem of a restaurant so so much, I was completely ecstatic when I heard that it would be opening a location in the Fenway district of Boston. (btw there’s also a second Boston location in the Seaport district!)
My sister and I decided to make a day out of visiting the city for our much anticipated lunch. On this particular day, the weather was a little on the chillier side, so I opted for a shorts + long-sleeved top look. I paired my gray and white striped shorts (similar here) with my newly favorite top–both from Anthropologie. I absolutely LOVE this top for chillier summer days. It’s of sheer material, so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a heavy long-sleeved top, but rather a light and comfortable one. This top is perfect for days when it’s just a little too cold to wear tanks or short-sleeved tops. Also, P.S. this top is actually categorized as being beach wear! I didn’t really realize this until the other day when I was looking around on Anthropologie’s site lol. Anyways, I think that this top would be perfect over a bathing suit, or worn how I have it pictured above! Gotta love those multi-wearable clothing pieces, am I right π ! For shoes, I kept it pretty simple with my platinum Jack Rodger sandals. As for jewlery, I paired my dainty pearl necklace and rings with fun, colorful statement earrings (similar ones here). I love incorporating some form of statement jewelry–whether it be earrings, a necklace, rings or a bracelet–into a rather colorless or simple look. Doing so will automatically make your overall look much more unique and interesting π Finally, I carried my favorite suede crossbody bag from Banana Republic (similar bag here). To quickly sum up Tess’ look, she paired her go-to jeans from Gap with a trendy tube top from Brandy Melville, while accessorizing with some beachy chokers.
Tess and I definitely more than enjoyed our time spent at by CHLOE, and would recommend it to anyone who’s interested. We devoured our black bean guac burgers with a side of sweet potato fries dipped in beet ketchup. Because bY CHOLE is super healthy, they also carry the raved about Kombucha probiotic tea. I have been dying to try this tea, and lets just say that it definitely did not disappoint! Anyways, after our mini photoshoot, taken while inhaling our food, Tess and I finished our Boston trip with a walk (and shopping spree) along Newbury Street–our favorite street in the city!
