HELLO!!!! N.G.L. it has been literal AGES since I last posted. College has a way of depriving you of all your time! But I am #back–this time with a ~festive~ lil post to in honor of Christmas Eve! With Christmas just one day away (where does the time go lmk), I thought I would do a feature post in one of my absolute favorite places ever, Terrain Cafe. Located in only a couple locations around the world, I feel extremely lucky to have a Terrain so close to my college as there is one located in Westport, CT. A few weeks back , the part-shop, part-restaurant/cafe hosted its annual holiday open house. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fanatic when it comes to the holidays, so when I heard about this merry event, I knew my attendance was absolutely essential.
The weather was a bit nippy, so I opted for some layers that would keep my bundled up yet on trend. I tucked a simple black turtleneck from Brandy into my distressed Levi’s 501 Crop Jeans and paired my block-heeled booties from Urban with the look. To keep warm, I layered my forrest green Marrakech jacket from Anthropologie (similar here) over my outfit and finished off with my favorite beanie, also from Anthro. In accordance with the forrest green style of my look, I accessorized with my fav tote bag from Zara.
The day was filled with holiday cheer, consisting of sweet gingerbread lattes in the oh-so-chic cafe, cotton candy by the log-lit fire amongst the Christmas tree farm, and playing under the fake snow machine. I don’t think anything says “Christmas” quite like cute little children running around in fake, soap-based snow as they think its real 🙂
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYONE!!! I hope the holidays are filled with joy and love!
Until next time…
