  • Cafés and Kimonos

A few days ago my friend Laura and I spent the day at our favorite local café–Lucky Finn. Lucky Finn is located south of Boston, in the heart of Scituate harbor. Countless days of mine are spent enjoying the beachy-chic environment of this nautical gift shop-turned café. While at Lucky Finn, you will surely enjoy some of the best gourmet treats and specialty coffees (my current fav being the sea salt caramel latte!), and you will do so while admiring an impeccably beautiful view of the harbor. The cafe’s unique location guarantees for an unforgettable experience.

On this particular winter day, the weather was increasingly warmer than the standard winter temperature. Because wearing a coat was by no means necessary, I instead opted to wear my favorite kimono cardigan. Kimonos of these kind are perfect for days like these. Not only are they warm, they are extremely trendy and will complete any outfit. Kimonos will transform any ordinary outfit into something uniquely beautiful. I particularly love this gold-embellished, frayed kimono cardigan from Anthropologie. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase it when I noticed it to be on sale. Under my kimono, I paired a simple black long-sleeved shirt from the Gap with my Paige jeans. For shoes, I wore my favorite Urban Outfitters black over-the-knee boots–my winter staple. For accessories, I layered a couple gold necklaces and sported my Banana Republic crossbody.

If you ever find yourself to be in the South Shore area, be sure to check out Lucky Finn Café–it definitely will not disappoint 🙂
