Ever since I was little, I’ve been wearing overalls. Back in the early 2000s my mom used to style my GAP denim overalls with cute cotton T-shirts underneath. Now, after years of discovering my own personal style, I style my trendy white Free People overalls over my go-to tube tops from Brandy Melville. If you couldn’t tell by now, I am obsessed with the current tube top trend revival. Tube tops are perfect for effortless style and are a summer must have. They are a perfect basic to layer into many summer looks! As far as my overalls go–I snagged these babies not to long ago from one of my favorite stores a.k.a. Free People. Free People’s style is extremely Bohemian, which I love and am 100% all for, and a little on the edgier side, which I am trying to incorporate into my style. I love these particular overalls because they are not like your typical blue jean overalls–they are white, a pretty basic, yet out of the box color for a pair of overalls. The frayed bottoms give the overalls an even more boho-festival vibe, which I love.
Because I was gong for an edgier, more out of the box look for this day spent in Boston, I decided to accessories accordingly. When it comes to jewelry, I think it’s pretty obvious that I am a total choker addict. Typically, I tend to sport a cute dainty choker. However, because I was feeling a lil’ risqué, I decided to spruce things up a bit and throw on a cool denim choker from Forever 21. I really love denim chokers atm and find them to be super stylish. Hey, who ever said denim was only meant for clothing?! I also have been LOVING the vintage clear/ tinted glasses trend. I picked up these classic silver aviators from Forever 21 and have been obsessed ever since. Glasses of this kind are super on trend currently and incorporating them into your outfit will definitely give your overall look a vintage, edgy vibe–something I was definitely striving for with this particular look. Finally, for shoes I wore my go-to Birkenstocks and toted around my favorite cross body bag.
